Scholarship Rules
The Bud Sanders Memorial Scholarship application period for 2024 is now open.
Applicants are to be an amputee or the immediate family member (this includes the Mother, Father, Sibling, Grandchild an amputee that lives in the footprint of MWAGA (The footprint includes; Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Iowa, Ohio, Indiana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Nebraska).
Applicants will need to complete the application in the link below and attach a cover letter, a letter of recommendation from a teacher or mentor and their current high school or college transcripts.
The scholarship will award a maximum of 2 students each year, a $500 renewable scholarship for 4 years, as long as the scholarship award winner confirms his or her continuing education each year with a letter of intent and copy of their transcripts to the MWAGA Board. Application enrollment will close on August 31st\ and we will not accept any applications submitted after 11:59 CMT on August 31st. Winners will be notified and invited to attend the MWAGA Annual Dinner on Saturday to be recognized.
