Scholarship Rules
The Bud Sanders Memorial Scholarship application period is Closed until the Summer of 2022.
Applicants are to be an amputee or the immediate family member (this includes the Mother, Father, Sibling, Grandchild an amputee that lives in the footprint of MWAGA (The footprint includes; Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Iowa, Ohio, Indiana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Nebraska).
Applicants will need to complete the application in the link below and attach a cover letter, a letter of recommendation from a teacher or mentor and their current high school or college transcripts.
The scholarship will award a maximum of 2 students each year, a $500 renewable scholarship for 4 years, as long as the scholarship award winner continues their education each year and confirms with the MWAGA board each year with a letter and copy of their transcripts. Application enrollment will close on August 13th and we will not accept any applications submitted after 11:59 CMT on August 13th. Winners will be notified and invited to attend the MWAGA Annual Dinner on Saturday to be recognized.
