Welcome to the Midwestern Amputee Golf Association

Donald W. Zommer (1939-2026)

It is with deep sadness that we have to let our association know our founder, Donald (Don) Zommer passed away on June 10th after a battle with Alzheimer's and Dementia. A celebration of life will be held on July 18, 2026, from 2p-5p at DuPage Funeral Chapel, 951 W Washington, West Chicago, IL. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Midwestern Amputee Golf Association, or to the Alzheimer’s Association. His family has posted his obituary, the link can be found here.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Donna, Geoff, Denise and the entire Zommer family for their loss.
